Hi, I’m Meg — an ethnographer, health educator, creative enthusiast, and mother who is passionate about understanding human connection through movement. I love to move outside with others in a multitude of ways— dancing, running on trails, swimming in cold water, you name it!

My current research and teaching/facilitation are informed by ongoing studies in improvisational dance, somatics, and embodied anatomy. An ethics of care informs everything that I do and I strive to facilitate experiences that foster creativity and community alongside our shared learning.

I have worked in a variety of public/private settings throughout my career with a research background in health, ethics, and technology development. I hold a PhD from the University of California at San Francisco, a BS in Nursing from Columbia University, and a BA in Comparative Literature and Political Theory from Emory University.
